April’s Personal Power Manifesto

When I finally understood and accepted that nobody owes me anything and I am 100% responsible for my life, that’s when I stepped into my power and unleashed my greatest potential.

My parents are not responsible for paying my bills, bailing me out, giving me a car, giving me a place to live, paying for college, leaving me things or money when they pass away, or give me ANYTHING.

My parents were responsible for taking care of my needs until I was 18 yrs old. After that, I’m responsible for my life.

My husband is not responsible for paying for the lifestyle I want or responsible for my happiness.

No one is responsible for helping me reach my dreams and goals. I’m 100% responsible for doing my own work to create a successful life.

I’m responsible for getting over my fears and getting rid of my limiting beliefs.

I’m responsible for getting “unstuck” and moving forward. I’m responsible for my beliefs, choices, thoughts and actions (or inaction) that has gotten me where I am now. If it’s to be it’s up to me.

And if someone does offer help, support or even advice on their own free will from love and the goodness of their heart, that is GRACE. And I am beyond grateful. But it’s never expected.

That is a GIFT.

An entitlement mentality that someone owes us something is an excuse for not taking personal responsibility and doing the work to create the life we want. This thinking hurts us more than helps us.

When I finally got this, I took my power back and unleashed my greatest potential as a human being! I think this is how mountains are moved and how to finally create and live our dream life!

I better get busy, so I can practice what I preach.
