Happy Thanksgiving if you are celebrating this holiday with your family!
I believe this is one of the most important blog posts that I’ve shared. It’s about gratitude. This is big!
I first learned about starting a gratitude journal while watching a re-run of a 1997 Oprah Winfrey Show TV episode. Oprah’s guest was Sarah Ban Breathnach- best-selling author of “Simple Abundance”. In the book, Sarah talked about the importance of starting a gratitude journal.
Oprah said, when she started her own gratitude journal it changed her life forever. Starting a gratitude journal has changed my life as well.

I use to think, some people must be born more grateful than others. But that’s not true. Gratitude is a daily practice that we consciously choose to do in our lives. It’s a shift in thinking from focusing on what we don’t have and to focusing on what we do have. And what we focus on what we do have… the universe sends more abundance in our life.
I think we live in a scarcity-minded culture of “never enough”. This “never enough-ness” is fueled by the media. Many people struggle with not being enough. They worry about not having enough money. Not having enough time. Not being famous enough. Not having enough customers. Not having enough Facebook “likes”. The list goes on and on. But there is a way to peace and having enough right now. It happens through gratitude.
The alchemy of gratitude is this… Starting from a place of genuine gratitude is the #1 way to create a life of “peace and plenty” (which is the name of Sarah Ban Breathnach’s latest book).
Deadline: Mon. Dec. 29, 2014
Let’s take this challenge together!
I invite you to start your own gratitude journal today!
(I’m doing mine!)
At the end of every day, write down at least five things that
you are grateful for in your life for the next 30 days.
Even if it’s something small. Just do it.
I want to hear about the miracles & “Aha moments”
that show up in your life in the next 30 days.
