Welcome back!
Here is part four in this five part series on confidence.

PROOF Builds Confidence. (4 of 5)
——————————————————-
Gathering external proof can instantly boost your confidence level to conviction!
Below are some external forms of proof.
1. Have you ever read another person’s story and thought “If they can do it, maybe I can too.” That person’s story showed you proof that what you desire is possible and that alone can boost your confidence.
2. Experiments & Case Studies. I love doing this! I do case studies all the time in my business and personal life. Test your own product or service with at least 6-15 (or more) people. Track their results. Then report on their results. When you test it and see that your product or service really works to deliver results (brand promise) this builds confidence.
(Case Study) When I first started selling my product THINgloss, I wanted to make sure it worked to curb appetite. I organized a group of 30 women to do an independent study- a weight loss challenge. On day one, they all met me at a local gym, weighed in and I asked them to use the product daily as directed. On day 30, they met me at the same gym and weighed in.
Results: 68.3% of the participants in the study lost an average of 4.5 lbs during the 30 day study period. For me, this was proof that my product really worked. And this proof made it easy to sell it because I believed it worked.
I have several case studies and testimonials from my coaching clients who are entrepreneurs on my website as well.
I invite you to do your own studies and experiments too. Set a few small achievable goals. When you make them, this will build confidence to achieve bigger desires.
3. Winning awards. Have you won any awards or been recognized for
something in your community?
4. What are you known for? Host a get-together with friends. Ask them all to write down 5-10 positive qualities about you and each other. Go back and read those notes often for a confidence boost. Do friends or co-workers always seem to come to you to receive empathy, advice, just to listen, recipes, organize the party, manage the details, technology help, crafts, fun & laughter, etc.
5. Educational degrees? Certifications?
6. Ask yourself “What is my real motivation behind why I do what I do?” This is proof your intentions are pure and grounded in love rather than fear. When your work becomes something bigger than yourself, your confidence is boosted and fear fades.
p.s. Next week is part 5 in this series on confidence. It’s about self-acceptance. Confidence requires more than external proof alone.
We cannot feel confident unless we first feel worthy. You don’t want to miss part 5.
In friendship,
April
