April Yvette is more than a podcast host; she’s a beacon of hope and transformation. As a TV 40 Account Executive, innovator, inspiring speaker, and Shark Tank alum, April knows firsthand the power of stories to change lives. Her journey began as a struggling single mom, feeling stuck and overwhelmed, until she encountered a story of someone who overcame immense adversity to achieve extraordinary success. That story ignited a spark in herâ”If he can do it, maybe I can too!”
Determined to create a better life for herself and her children, April made a pivotal decision to stop seeing herself as a victim and take control of her destiny. Through unwavering faith and perseverance, she went from earning $9 an hour to generating $9 million in sales within a year selling new construction homes.Â
She experienced “15 minutes of fame” with appearances in small acting roles, gigs as a “Celebrity-look-a-like for Marilyn Monroe at an Indianapolis Colts NFL game, inventing a product called THINgloss and seen by millions on ABC’s Shark Tank, other TV appearances, and magazine covers.
But Aprilâs journey wasnât without setbacks. She faced crushing failure that left her bankrupt and lost. In her darkest moment, she turned to God, healed her past, and reinvented herself to victory.
Now, stronger than ever and mentally resilient, Aprilâs mission is to share overcomer stories of resilience and reinvention to inspire others to rise above any challenge and thrive.
